It was beautiful to be able to see two separate creative teams share the stage, but the production team had a hard time trying to deal with two speeches of acceptance that were overlapping.

Without some technical mistakes to discuss later, it would not be the Oscars. In the tie acceptance speech, one of the microphones was pulled out prematurely, causing certain groans by the audience and an awkward cutback to Conan.
